Lost.
In the world, many people of generations here and gone are of course lost. Lost is what I have noticed as being at a "point of no return". Lost is where that little girl, without a father is. Or where that little boy with no guidance is kept. Losing our generation and ourselves has become more evident now, than ever in the world. Lost is for that middle-aged woman who yearns for her life's end. Lost is for that man, that cannot seem to build the courage to be honest even towards himself. I must say, that now-a-days, getting lost and losing yourself is oh so easy to do. It only takes one bad turn, so-to-speak. I've witnessed and I'm sure that you have witnessed many people in your life who have gone astray. We all have. In my own mind, I have conceived that if the whole world is slowly becoming lost, then it's only a matter of time before, we are alone and lost in this world of lonesome souls. What I'm trying to say it, do we REALLY know who we are? Do we really know what we are capable of? We learn things EVERY single day and what's not to say that we surely have not learned everything about ourselves. On another note, we tend to lose ourselves based off of other people. I'm here to tell you that NO ONE should determine who you are and what you stand for. I mean that's part of what being a human being is. Heed my words: "Do not be afraid to be yourself, because if you're not yourself, then who are you?"

Learn.
So many of us now-a-days are so arrogant to the fact that we NEVER want to be wrong about anything. I am a blatant witness and subscriber to that magazine of "I'm never wrong". I've delt my share of "Come one, come all's" but you know, I'm definitely not afraid to show people that I can be wrong. Situations in our lives are supposed to teach us something. Let's not defer from the situation and keep messing up and ending up in the SAME HOLE. eventually the only thing that you are going to be able to do, is learn how to get out of that whole quicker each time. How about next time we walk around the hole. Or better yet, walk down a different pathway. We get so hyped up and ready to prove who we are to someone that we don't realize that every situation can be a learning process. Don't get my wrong, I understand that this is better said than done and that some situations are going to be tough and we are not going to be able to heal as fast from them or learn as quickly; but trust me I understand. We have to learn from every experience, occasion, mishap, pain, joy, sandess, and journey. Take heed to every matter and I promise you, the road will still be tough, but you'll definitely learn your way around different streets, to help someone else who needs directions. :-)

Love.
What can I say, What can I say? I'm going to try and keep this one short. I want to discuss the difference between 'having love' and being 'in love'. A lot of people tend to get these mixed up. Case-in-point, you dated someone for a while and you 'loved' them (so you say),eventually you two drift apart and that love graduates to having love. What I mean in this is that, people tend to think that you can be in love with someone and then stop. NOOOOOOO, WRRROOOONG. When love is created it can never be destryoyed. Love is never destroyed it just changed form. Love is a powerful word that I'm definitely not able to metaphorically spell yet,and people now-a-days use it just like the word "the". I feel that once people start 'falling in love' so quickly and using the most amazing word in the world loosely, all value is lost. Love is a word that holds value greater than gold. Yet people tend to fall in love so quickly. Sometimes I wish that there was an age limit to love, or against the law to think or use the word love until your over the age of 21. That's what we ALL need. I think that we want love so badly that the quickest form of infatuation from someone that we assume it's love. Let's try harder on this 'love' game okay people.

Metro-Town,Music & Meaning

Hey wassup peepz,
This Cedric. well this week, Was pretty much one of the most exciting weeks of my life and one of the most fufilling. I know most of you are wondering what the title means, well I'll get to that later on. Well this week I learned some very valuable lessons that I'll probably carry on for the rest of your life. Well about the title. First, "Metro-Town" was a 4-day program that I attended this week and it taught many young people the value of choosing words and selecting the right words so that you don't offend anyone. I know from experience that people can say some pretty Harsh things, from friends, Church members, School Members, Community Members, etc. I mean it's all in the way you choose your words. I mean in my opinion we should not use words to abuse or try to embarass or try to hurt someone because it is not Cool. Sometimes people may not know they are doing it. As a matter of fact, me and my cousin Kelvin were talking about this situation and we determined that we REALLY didnt use negative words when describing or talking to someone (besides my little cuz Kris), it's usually the people in our life that we talk to that offend us more than we do them, and we forgave them because they didnt know that they were doing it, so we'd juss ignore it so no controversy would arise. Sometimes it takes people listening to actually understand what's being said. I listen more to what my friends advice are than my friends listen to me. So in my opinion it's always good to have someone you can go and get advice from, but when the other person needs advice don't juss say "okay" or or anything, just listen and learn and help (just like they help u). Any-How, Music, this week I ACTUALLY STARTED my album, with a song called "Don't Care" it's an R&B song about not caring what people say about your relationship, and that you should juss ignore the negative feedback you may obtain. So I will be releasing a snippet when I finish the song later on this week. Yeah and the meaning part of this was basically ending this blog post saying that EVERY word has meaning, it's juss how u use it.

Hey wassup people, its me again, reflecting on things that I just have been thinking about. Even though this doesnt work, I want to apologize to everyone who this may offends (I don't know how, but it ALWAYS does).

Thrive.
Thrive to be the best. Be better than the first and thrive to leave a challenge for the next. There are times when your survival is all you have, and the word "survival" is difficult.Life is full of deaths and tolls and many obstacles, but its how you pass and obtain your own knowledge of getting around these obstacles that allows you to thrive. Thrive is for the person who knows not how to survive. Thrive is for the person who is trying, but gets beat down by harsh words or daily set-backs. Thrive is for the person who is not well "looked upon". Thrive is for the outcast of a group, ya know, the one everyone thinks is "weird", even though there is not definition for "normal". Thriving is for that artist,athlete,musician,doctor,lawyer who seems not to be the best in their field, but seems to bring something to the game. Thrive.

Thirst.
Thirst is to want. Thirst for knowledge as if it was the last cup of water in the whole world. Sit back and listen to the elderly as they give knowledge and quench your mind of hasty world desires.Thirst for talent. Thirst learning what your purpose in the world would be. Without thirst there is no need to drink. Thirst is for the person who may not have the best talent in the world, but utilizes what god gave them. Thirst is for someone who doesnt have the talent but would rather trade their god-given talent for another that they practice the most. Thirst is for the desire to be better than yesterday and be better than last week. Thirst is for the person who works while everyone is sleeping. Thirst is for that extra mile you run just to get better. Thirst is for the challenge that someone puts upon themselves so they get better. Thirst.

Thanks is to be grateful. Thank all who have helped come this far. Be grateful that you made it this far, because who knows where you could be without all the events. Be thankful for all the good moments in your life. Don't shun the bad times, because they helped you get where you are today; and if where you are today is not acceptable, thank god for letting you understand that fact. Thanks to all the inspiration in your life, and passion. Thanks to the knowledge you do know and hoped to learn more of. Thanks to your well being and not complaining. Hey wassup people. Sorry for not "Blogging" in a second. I had to let things Cool Down since the last note. Well I want to discuss a few things on this blog like: The Last Blog, Music, and Life [in general]. Well, on the last blog I said somethings that were pretty harsh. I want to formally apologize again to anyone that really gave a crap about what was said. and That is where I end that part of the discussion. Next, music wise, I have been going hard on this writing shiz. I have written two new songs and they are some shizzzz. One is called "Look Into The Stars", it's a ballad that is definitely and Billboard 100 #1 Hit. The other song is called "Heart-Break" and I am not done with that one yet, almost though. I am in the process of working on another joint called "Amnesia", so I'll prolly post up a vid of me doing that song. Speaking of vids, for some reason KYTE has decided to not allow chatting any more. I am working on changing this feat. Well, um....lately in Life [generally] everything has been seriously out of whack. I mean friends have dueled for superiority. I have 5 life lessons I want to share on friendship that could help some people with the relationships in their life:
1) Friendships are relationships that are meant to endure hardships, testing the durability of the friendship. So don't let a friendship slip away easily.
2)A Friend is someone who cares and shares, not who wares and tares.
3)Love all your friends equally and be honest at all times, to avoid conflict.
4)Friends should understand one another or they wouldn't necessarily be called Friends.
5)Times change, Seasons Change, But True Friends last a lifetime.

Hey wassup everybody. Lately, the only way I could describe my life is in three different categories. These categories describe the way I have been feeling in the past months, and I am going to reveal and vent on this blog update if that is fine with you all.

Crazy
Crazy is for those people who thought it was funny to think they are above anyone and judge others who are different than themselves. To ridicule over 25 different people and half of the statements given being negative is wrong. But who am I to judge. Crazy is for all those people who thought it was funny to purposely hurt someone and not apologize for it. For all of you have a problem and won't seek professional help. Crazy is for those times when I doubt the human civilization's choice in music and sanity. Crazy is for those people who enjoy the song "stanky leg", which is very demeaning and shows how far away from the classic music styles of the greats that have come before such as : Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holliday, Ray Charles,and many other African-American musicians that have defied the odds. Crazy is for those people who call people out of their names. "White" referring to an African-American who withholds themselves in a proper manner. "Lame" or "Dumb" even "Retard" showing how unsympathetic our society is towards the mentally unstable. Crazy is for this year so far, which hopefully will turn it's ways around.

Collective
Collective is for those hard times in which you must keep your composure when feeling insulted in front of other people. Colletive is for a debate that you know you have won and the opponent swears to differ. Collective is for those times that you can't make out what emotion you feel but you know your feeling something deep down inside. Collective is for those days, you wish weren't days, but only mere moments in your life that you could pass by. Collective is for secrets that tear into your soul because they have been kept long. Collective is what it takes for you to wake up every morning and create a phony expression of happiness for the world to see. Collective is what it takes for you to keep when you walk past and you feel your name whispered in another person's ear. Collective is the fake way you withstand the constant fatal blows that life strikes you with.

Cool
Cool is when a girl finally realizes that it's not about the dread-head, with sagging pants, but about the future lawyer or doctor that's going to make a difference. Cool is when a 5 year old figures out how to ride a bike without training wheels. Cool is when a celebrity gets an award and when they accept the award the first words that comes out of their mouth is "First I want to thank God". Cool is for those times where you could've went in two different directions and you choose the road less traveled. Cool is for those times a teenager makes the right decision. Cool is when someone gives their time for a cause like: cleaning communities, helping the homeless, and even assisting the elderly. Cool is when you have time to sit and feel the cool wind breeze against your cheek. Cool is when you hear a song on your iPod,Mp3, or Radio that you can relate to. Cool is when the word "Love" is used and is really meant. Cool is when you can fall asleep and there are no worries in your life. Cool is when you bypass the day without a scar or any physical pain. cool is when you can say Thank You, Hear Thank You, and Watch the word Thank You form in someone's mouth. Cool is when someone gives someone money and doesn't expect to be payed for. Cool is when someone offers help for no exact reason at all. Cool is when girls give the guy in the corner time of day. Cool is when a guy can be straight up with a girl and not cheat on her. Cool is when someone realizes that Jesus is the Christ. Cool is when people spell music with a "q" because it adds soul or retrospective. Cool is for all the things "Lame", "Retarded", "ugly". Cool is when someone realizes their "Perfect-Imperfections" that they were given by God. Cool is for all the things that are different in everyday life.

'Til Death Do Us Part

Hey wassup people.
Well today I was thinking back on things. But first let me tell u what happened. Well my aunt has been in the hospital for about 2 weeks because she had cancer in the arm. Well yesterday they decided to put her on life-support, and we had a family meeting at my grandma's house after I got out of skool and it was about 25 people there and they told us about the life support, but they decided hours before to take her off and they said she would die in a few weeks,days, or months, and about 30 minutes later the doctor called and said she died. It kinda got to me cause that was like my favorite aunt, but life goes on and eventually people will get over it. But anyways on a better note, Valentines Day is coming up and I have a Valentine in mind, (Jasper & Cofel know who I am talking about) and I have a performace with the Sabbath Soulja's in 2 weeks and we have a practice/rehearsal tomorrow. I have been working on some music, and I have put up some music on the Phenom website, it's A Capella of what the song actually is going to sound like, but I wanted you give you guys something to go on, and I hope u guys enjoyed the Phenom updates we posted a few weeks ago. I apologize for not updating in a LONG time, but we have some stuff coming soon. I really dont wanna take up 2 much time but, talk to u later,

Hey wassup everyone,Happy New Years to everybody. Well I released a clip of my intro for my album, its not finished yet, its a little raw, and all so I think that It will get better. Besides being called "Intro" the original name for the song is "A Capella Oh(Feel The Pain)" and it was written during the session. All The background is me and I hope you enjoyed the clip, I'm not finished with the track yet so that is all I could show you for now. But anways, I am working on some songs with Kelvin, that we are working out and I hope will go well. Well I am currently out of going out of town, tonight after this little function thing that is at my church, and my cousin Lil' Kris is going to be in. I am also working on some songs with him, he's like my young prodigy, We have song we are working on called "So Fresh" and it is going to be downloaded on the internet so you guys can hear it. Ay wassup everybody,
This Ya Boi CB. I been workin' harder then ya'll know, tryna get this album started. I'm going to be starting soon. We are writing even more songs and trying to get the tracks laid. I know I'm probably going to record about 25 songs for this, and the best 12 will make the cut. Still untitled as of now. I apologize for no updates and no new videos on the kyte. I have been very busy and the camera has not been sending over the videos to me like it is supposed to. I will get that fixed. Um....what else is there...well i am going to try to post some polls, and videos on this blog. My myspace is currently not down, but on hiatus. Why? because I am working on my new music myspace page. So that when my music does come out you guys can listen to it for sure. and u will be able to download it so, all of you can listen. Can't wait for ya'll to hear what I have been writing. I kind of write what is going on in my life. I have been doing some voice training, so that when I do go into the studio my voice will not be messed up at all. I think I sound better. Right now I am on christmas break, because its christmas and I have a cold, so that is why no work is getting done. I am going to be leaving and going to go 2 Valdosta to do some work and I will be hitting you all up when I get back. Hey wassup people, this is Cedric. Well last time I posted you I told you guys that I dropped out of Phenom. I actually did in fact drop out of the group because of scheduling purposes. My Album starts recording this month, it is still untitled and I have been writing some songs for the album, Like a track that me and K2 wrote called "Graffiti" and its still in the process, and I am also working on a song called "R&B" and "Radio", so watch out for those coming out soon. I am actually creating another myspace page, that is only for my music, so that my songs can stand alone. My first single that I want out now is Graffiti because it is my favorite (even though we are not finished with the project). I have written about 5 songs already, I want about 10-14 songs on this album.Thank you guys for voting on my poll about my what my new album should be called , The top 2 answers were Code Blue and Ecstasy, I appreciate that. Who Dropped Out? Here's The Answer.

Hey wassup everyone. This is the most important post that I will have to do. Everyone wants to know who has dropped out of Phenom. Well I will tell you who dropped out at the end of this post. Well we have had a good time with the Sabbath Soulja's on Sunday, we are going to be doing ALOT more practice. Well again my album is going to start next month and I am going to be putting up 2 polls: What the name of the album should be? and What song title should I record as my first track? I have a few in mind actually, so be prepared for that. I can't wait until time comes so I want you guys to be apart of this every step of the way, so that I can make an album that everyone likes. The album is primarily R&B/Soul type music, more R&B than anything else though. Sorry for not posting who dropped out of Phenom yesterday, we were told that we should wait, and that we should not do it and should just work it out or add another before anyone notices. But we wanted you to know so we came on here against the label, Thirdstep Ent. Well the moment has arrived. The person who has dropped out of phenom is me, yeah that's right, I dropped out of Phenom. Shocked! wow...I'm glad that I told you guys cause I wasn't going to say. I have nothing agaist the group what's so ever, I just want to pursue different things, not saying that I am totally out of Phenom, not at all, we are trying to find a way to work my album in with Phenom's, moving some dates, back etc. well know you know who has dropped. Most of you voted for Lady T and Dei'ja, no one voted for me, thank you but that was incorrect, sorry, that's it for now,

Something New

Hey wassup everybody, Right now I'm sick, I have a stomach virus. Yeah, I know it sounds bad...it is. Anyway, this weekend Phenom is going to be performing with our sub group "Sabbath Soulja's", it's going to be cool, we perform every 4 weeks. Oh yeah, I wanna tell you guys to go and check me and Kelvin's walmart adventure on our KYTE channel. Sorry we can not show you the rest of the adventure, there were at least 4 more video's but my computer went down and we had to erase everything, so we will juss do something different, I hope u enjoyed what we put on there. Oh yeah, I wanna thank you guys we now have over 2,000 views on our KYTE channel and this is 2 months with the KYTE channel. I want to let you know that Phenom has no rehearsals and no dates really right now, we are taking a session break. That is where we take about 2 weeks break from the whole group and just relax, it might last a little longer, or until we get this member thing worked out. My album is currently in the works, later on I am going to put up a poll on some album names and you can vote for me, I hope you guys, will vote like you did for the other poll on "Who is Your Favorite Phenom Member". I had to close it early, because of group controversy, so I just put another poll on the site, PLEASE VOTE. Anyways, we currently have a wikipedia page, it says a lot of untrue things, so don't believe it. Anyways I wanna make some shout outs on this page, these people don't know that they are getting a shout out but oh well, they'll find out,

Calling it Quits

Hey Wassup Everybody, I know it was posted on Kelvin (a.k.a. K2)'s Myspace that one of the Phenom members had dropped out of the quartet. Well that is infact true. The member who dropped out of the group has decided to pursue a different road away from Phenom and the brand, not just solo, because we all are working on solo projects but to stray away and join another group. We can not disclose to you who the member is currently at this time,because the member is still in contract and is not sure yet if they want drop out, who do you think it is? I am going to be putting up a poll later on and on November 14, we will tell you all the info you need to know about this ordeal. Do you think it's k2? How about Lady T. Dei'Ja? or even me? well you'll just have to see, but we are not flexing bout this because Phenom will be a world Phenomenon no matter what the member of the group does, at least I believe so, because I believe in all the members and I see a great future with or without a member. Well besides that, there are also some rumors that we do not get along, that is not necessarily true, we have our times, but we do infact get along very well, for the most part.
